GLENS FALLS — Quentin Austin and James Prastio Jr. scored touchdowns in the second half Saturday night as the Glens Falls Greenjackets pulled away to a 20-6 New England Football League victory over the Rhode Island Riptide.
The Jackets, who won their fifth straight game, tied the score at 6-6 just before halftime on a 20-yard touchdown pass from Caleb Condon to Izaiah McLaughlin.
Austin scored from 2 yards out fora 12-6 lead late in the third quarter, and on the first play of the fourth, Prastio ran 31 yards for the final touchdown. Jon Hammond added the two-point conversion on a pass from Condon.
Glens Falls (5-3) is scheduled to host the Worcester Wildcats this Saturday at 7 p.m. at Glens Falls High School with a chance to move up in the playoff seedings.
