GLENS FALLS — Kaedin Ogilvie came up with one final stop Saturday night to keep the Glens Falls Greenjackets on a roll.
Ogilvie’s fourth-down knockdown of a Worcester Wildcats pass with 1:11 left in regulation to play preserved the Jackets’ 24-19 New England Football League victory. It was Glens Falls’ sixth straight win after opening the season with three losses.
The Jackets, now 6-3 and in third place, head into the the Labor Day bye with a head of steam going into the season finale, set for Sept. 7 at the first-place Southern Vermont Storm.
“It feels amazing, but it should be win number, what, eight, nine?” linebacker Todd Bariteau said. “But we’re just trying to finish off the season strong and head into playoffs with a winning mentality.”
